In all, they collected 1,270 cans of corn, green beans, soup, and packages of mashed potatoes! Pictured with the food are some of this year's Friendly Helpers, who sponsored the project.

Yesterday, Governor Pritzker issued an Executive Order for Illinois Schools that requires the wearing of masks indoors by all at schools regardless of vaccination status until further notice. This includes indoor sports as well. Outdoor school activities/sports have not been affected to this point. Requirements for mask wearing on school transportation were already in place.
More detailed reopening plans that reflect these changes will be shared soon.

MJHS Softball Parent Meeting on Monday, June 28 at 5:30pm at the softball field. This meeting is for any incoming 7th or 8th grade girl interested in playing junior high softball. Each participant is allowed 8 guests. Students may leave after their group performs. General Admission will also be allowed for those with proof of vaccination. Masks still mandatory for attendees. Doors will open at 5:15 p.m.
North School in-person students in grades 3-6 will take the Illinois Assessment of Readiness (IAR) during the week of April 19-23.
North School remote learning students in grades 3-6 will take the Illinois Assessment of Readiness (IAR) at North School on April 27, 28 and 29 from 8:00-12:00.
