Molly Farrell signs her letter of intent to attend Lipscomb University and participate on the track and cross country teams

On Monday, November 17th, Marshall High School student athlete Molly Farrell signed her Letter of Intent to participate in cross country and track & field at Lipscomb University in Nashville, Tennessee beginning in 2026-2027. 

Molly ran cross country for four years at Marshall High School, winning three Little Illini Conference championships and three regional titles while finishing in the top 8 in each of her four appearances in the IHSA cross country state championship meet. 

Molly joins a Bisons cross country team which recently won their record 12th Atlantic Sun Conference Championship. 

Molly maintains personal bests in the 1600m (4:52), 3200m (10:34), 3 mile XC (16:50), and 5K XC (17:43), and she currently is undecided on a major. 

Molly was joined at her signing by her family, cross country teammates, track & field teammates, and friends.
