Last week, the Marshall FFA Officer Team of Lane Perry (President), Emma Gosnell (Vice President), Carly Foley (Secretary), Catie Guillemette (Treasurer), Lily Shotts (Reporter), and Braelyn Crouch (Sentinel), attended the 98th National FFA Convention in Indianapolis. While there, they had the chance to talk to colleges, connect with other FFA members from all across the country, participate in bonding events, and explore workshops over a wide range of topics.

Lane Perry, who is also the Section 20 President, served as part of the State of Illinois Delegation throughout the week. He spent time setting up the FFA Mega Store, completing community service for a local non-profit, serving as a delegate to vote on business to benefit the future of FFA, and networking with other state officers from all 50 states as well as Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands. Lane and the other 70,000 FFA members present also attended sessions to see members' successes and presentations from the National FFA Officers.
The National FFA Convention is a staple of the year and a favorite memory for all members who attend.
