The Marshall Schools Co-Vid Testing program for students and staff has begun.

Marshall Schools is an approved CoVid testing site for our symptomatic students and staff using BiNax Now Antigen tests as part of a pilot Illinois program.  BiNax Now is a “fast” test that only requires a nasal swab, 15 minutes to get a result, and can be administered by our health care staff.  This is completely optional to parents and staff, is free, and is only used when a student or staff member is symptomatic at school or has symptoms when completing the self-certification health check. In having access to these tests on site, we are able to speed up the process of ruling out CoVid and getting staff and students back to the classroom quicker.

If a student is symptomatic in the morning before school, you can contact the office and we can arrange for the student to come in and test.  If a student becomes symptomatic at school, we will contact the parent before testing.

If interested in participating,  you may still sign up.  Follow the link below for a waiver for you to complete and return to the office of your child’s school.

Student Permission Waiver

Test results, as is the case with any testing site, would be shared with the Illinois Department of Public Health. Positive tests would also be reported to the Clark County Health Department.
