MHS IHSA Stage 1 Workout Groups

Football Group Workout Rosters

Cross Country Group Workout Rosters

Other Sport Group Workout Rosters

Students in these sessions should be dropped off at the McNary Parking Lot.  A Coach or trainer will be present  for their group to take their temperature and go through the health questions.  Parents who drop off should wait for the Temperature / Health Questions to be done and for a thumbs up from the Coach or trainer before leaving.  Students who fail the Temperature Check / Health Questions will not be allowed to participate that day.  If symptoms would persist, the athlete will be advised to see their family physician.

All Student-Athletes should be dressed for their workout when they arrive & should bring their face mask (we will provide if students do not have one, these will be worn for check-in, but not during the athletic activity), drink, towels, etc.

Restrooms will be available.  Locker rooms / showers will not be available.

Workouts will be outside if at all possible.  In case of inclement weather, workouts would move indoors.

Email Athletic Director Kevin Keown at  kkeown@marshallk12.net if you have questions.

IHSA Stage 1 Workouts for MHS Student-Athletes

The IHSA has issued “Stage 1” guidance to begin limited summer workouts for high school athletics.  The IHSA Guidance is linked below (Please Read).

IHSA Stage 1 Guidance Link

As you can see, we are a long way from normal summer activity, but this is at least a step in that direction.  We do not know for certain, but believe that flexibility to do more and be more sport specific will come on June 26 or shortly thereafter if our Region is able to move to Phase 4 of the Governor’s Restore Illinois Plan.

Stage 1 Workouts include high school athletes (anyone entering 9th-12th grades) only at this point.  We hope to add Junior High Summer workouts in some form after the June 26 date referenced above.
